Each episode opens with JJ singing “Imagine with Me” alongside the Melon Patch Academy kids, using a ladybug light toy to spark pretend play. After this, the characters sing “About To Do Something New” while learning topics like letters, numbers, shapes, colors, animals, nursery rhymes, music, and singing. At the end of every episode, the characters discuss what they learned and experienced. The theme song, “It’s a Great Day on Cocomelon Lane,” is performed by JJ in each installment.
