Oddbods, also called *The Oddbods Show*, is a computer-animated comedy web series from Singapore and Britain, produced by One Animation. It features eight characters—Bubbles, Pogo, Newt, Jeff, Slick, Fuse, Zee, and Lulu (who joined in season 4)—each dressed in a differently colored furry suit. The characters communicate only through sounds and gibberish, not in any human language, which makes the show easy to translate and distribute worldwide.
The series first aired in 2013. Each season contains 60 episodes. The first season ended in 2015, the second followed in 2016, and the third was released on Netflix on 4 April 2022. Episodes are short, with formats including one-minute, five-minute, and seven-minute lengths. Since its debut, the show has won multiple awards, such as the Asian Television Awards, Apollo Awards, Gold Panda Awards, and Web TV Asia Awards. In 2017, it was nominated for an international Kids Emmy Award.
The plot follows the eight Oddbods as they "survive the perils of everyday life, unintentionally turning ordinary situations into unexpected, extraordinary and always humorous events." The main characters include Fuse, a red Oddbod and hot-headed leader who switches from calm to furious quickly; Slick, an orange Oddbod who lives by YOLO but fears missing out, often flirting with Newt; Bubbles, a yellow Oddbod obsessed with scientific experiments and inventions; Zee, a green Oddbod who naps constantly and never cleans; Pogo, a blue Oddbod and ultimate prankster who owns an ice cream truck; Jeff, a purple Oddbod with OCD and a fear of germs, who is tidy and artistic; Newt, a pink Oddbod addicted to candy, inquisitive, and fond of selfies; and Lulu, a cyan Oddbod from *Minibods*, the shortest of the group, who loves music and shares a sisterly bond with Newt.
